The Best 3-Cheese White Pizza

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST WHITE PIZZA:
  1. Start with ready-to-bake refrigerated pizza dough. Toss the dough and using fingers, spread onto pizza pan. Generously drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
  2. Top with freshly grated mozzarella. I prefer to use a block of mozzarella cheese and freshly grate it before sprinkling on the pizza. It melts so much better than shredded cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, Parmesan Cheese, and salt.  This is what gives the ricotta cheese extra flavor so it isn’t bland!
  4. Generously sprinkle with Italian herbs.
  5. Bake at a high heat– 450 degrees to allow the crust to crisp on the bottom.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ready-to-Bake Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 16 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place the pizza dough on a pizza pan. Stretch and push the dough out with your fingertips to an even layer in the pan. Brush with olive oil. 
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the pizza crust. 
  • In a small bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, Parmesan Cheese, and salt. Drop dollops of ricotta cheese all over the pizza dough. 
  • Sprinkle with Italian herbs and red pepper flakes. 
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
