GLUTEN-FREE CAKE WITH CHESTNUT FLOUR AND ALMONDS



Ingredients

  • 175 g Butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 125 g Chestnut flour
  • 150 g Almond powder
  • 1 C. coffee Natural vanilla extract
  • 8 Egg white

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (tea 6) .-
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over very low heat, then pour it into a bowl. Add the brown sugar and work it with the butter.
  3. In another bowl, mix the chestnut flour, ground almonds and vanilla extract.
  4. Beat the egg whites very firm with a pinch of salt.
  5. Stir in the butter-sugar mixture, the flour-almond mixture and the whites in the snow.
  6. Pour into a round pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Unmold on a rack and let cool. Serve as is or accompanied by homemade custard.
